PROJETO MOSAICO

We believe that each and every citzen has the obligation to give back to society part of what they have received throughout their lives. If you are reading this page, consider yourself lucky as there are approximately 15 million illirate people in Brazil. A report shown by The United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO) shows that Brazil appears in 8th place among the countries with the largest number of illirate adults. Overall, the study was made considering 150 countries.

When we look at Brazil and it’s scary numbers in social areas, we may consider ourselves a highly qualified minority according to the social situation of the country. According to the Institute for Applied Economic Research sources there are 10.452.383 brazilians living below the poverty line.

Wygand Advogados supports Instituto Mosaico, which has as it’s first purpose to raise citizen awarness and develop their values and ethics, preparing them to enter the job market and to become athletes. These values are built in the projects’ sporting activities where discipline, studies and determination are characteristics of each small citizen that arrives at Mosaico.

We believe in sports as a highly educational environment, where discipline trumps talent, where the will to prepare oneself needs to be greater than the will to win and that the meritocratic environment of sports is a reflex on life’s challenges.

Therefore we believe that our athletes do not need to be more talented than others. We believe that they must be more disciplined.

Leaded closely by the tireless teacher Renato Santos, we are certain that our support is an important seed that is being planted in each of our athletes.

Thank you,

Wygand Advogados
